Reviewer's Comments:  I've been to Redbones several times because it located here in my home city. They are the BEST BBQ in SLC bar none.  Ok I've found a couple of new places but haven't been there yet.  The Pulled pork is good, very smokey.  Their ribs are served dry and not covered in some sauce you don't like.  They do a dry rub on their ribs that is very good.  The best part! SAUCE on the side! with 3 to choose from, Sweet, Vinegar or Hot.  Their Sides are the best.  The beans are very good as is is the Boston Cucumber Salad and Oven Roasted Red potatoes. The 700 East location has limited seating unless it's warm enough to use the outdoor patio tables. They have another location that just opened up at 5594 S. Redwood Rd (801)955-5300. It's a must visit if your in the SLC area!!!!! http://www.redbones.com

Eddies is not much to look at, an old drive-in restaurant that has been converted to a diner... but looks can be deceiving. Most of the menu is pretty much average greasy burger joint fare but if you order up a dish from the smoker get ready for deadly serious, down home Q! Eddie's Q is the real thing wood smoked outback in his pit and served up with some of the tastiest sauce ever. The sauce appears to be tomato/molases based with plenty of coarse black pepper and other seasonings, one thing's for sure it kicks butt. Ribs, brisket, shrimp all are splendid. He offers an "all you can eat" rib special. I've eaten Q in a lot of joint around the country and danged few of 'em have provided a tastier repast. Oh yeah.. I almost forgot, Eddies still serves real fries, not the frozen, formed, mashed potato variety you get almost everywhere else these days.
