I've been going to Big Daddy's for about a year now and the food is quite consistent along with the service. A family style restaurant with a family atmosphere. They offer Beef, Spare and Baby backs as far as ribs are concerned. I go for the Baby Backs and they are quite delicious. fallin off the bone and melt in your mouth. I shy away fro beef ribs unless I'm smokin my own because I've been disappointed too many times by that cut, same with spare ribs. (I will try the sampler next time for research reasons and get back to ya). The Baked beans rock and so does the slaw!! A reason by itself if you ask me. If you are up this way it's definitely a must-try establishment. They offer a wide variety of seafood and combo dishes but I got burned on the swordfish, so it's ribs for me!

If your stuck north of the Mason/Dixon line and want REAL cooked over wood BBQ try the Duck Deli just outside of Doylestown Pa. on Rt. 202. These people don't just advertize "Outrageous BBQ' they serve it. They serve a sampler: wings, ribs and pulled pork, a pulled pork platter, a pulled BBQ beef platter, 1/2 a smoked chicken, a rib platter, and a salmon/ crab platter with two sides and hushpuppies. There are two BBQ sauses on the table a sweet K.C. sauce and a vinager N.C. sauce. All there meats are slow cooked over hickory wood for that just right flavor.
