Mark's Barbecue Sauce

1 cup ketchup
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 cup Worcestershire sauce
1 tablespoon celery seed
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 dash black pepper
1 dash Tabasco sauce

I've been using the following recipe for quite some time, I believe it might be what you're looking for. I found it in the recipe archives, it was originally posted by Mark Antry, whose name I haven't seen on the list for a while. It's excellent. I make it without the celery seed (and usually add more chili powder and substitute Texas Pete for the Tabasco. Posted to the BBQ List on July 8 by Britt Scheer - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
