Chorizo And Bean Soup

none

1 tablespoon dried New Mexican chilies; crushed
1 pound smoked chorizo sausage; crumbled
1 large onion; chopped
3 carrots; diced
1 cup celery; chopped
2 cups cooked kidney beans
2 tomatoes; peeled and diced
1 cup broth from cooked kidney beans
3 cups water
1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
1 teaspoon white vinegar
1/2 teaspoon epazote; optional
sour cream

Briefly sauté chorizo. Add onion, carrots, and celery and sauté over medium heat for 2 minutes. Combine with remaining ingredients except sour cream and simmer for 30 minutes. Garnish with sour cream and serve. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
