Chef's Barbeque Sauce

none

1 cup oil
2 1/2 cups onions; finely chopped
1 1/2 cups brown sugar
5 tablespoons prepared mustard
3 teaspoons salt
5 tablespoons Worcestershire
5 cups catsup
1/2 cup vinegar
3 pints water
