Export Format Chocolate Whiskey Pecan Pie none pie: 3 eggs, slightly beaten 1 cup of sugar 1 cup of karo syrup dark or light 2tbsp of butter, melted 1 tsp of vanilla 3 tsp of jim beam 1 cup of pecans 3/4 of a cup of semi sweet chocolate chips 1 9 inch pie crust pie crust recipe ingredients: 2 cups of flour 1 tsp salt 2/3 cup of lard or shortening 5 to 7 tbsp of ice water Sift Flour and salt together in bowl. Cut the lard or shortening in with a pastry blender, knives , or blending fork til peices are the size of small peas. Add Cold water a few drops at a time until the particles just hold togehter. Press together to form a ball. Chill in fridge for 1/2 hour. Divide the pastry in half,. Roll out to 1/8 of an inch think and line your pie plate. Fold the edges under and press with a fork. Makes two single pie crusts or one double pie crust. Preheat oven to 350F. In a large bowl stir the first six ingredients til well blended. Stir in Pecans and Chocolate Chips. Pour into your pie crust. Bake 50 to 60 minutes, You can't insert a knife in this one, cuz it will come out coated in chocolate but the rest should be clean if you do. let cool a bit, but best served still slightly warm with Vanilla Ice Cream.
