Export Format Banana Nut Bread none 2 cups sifted flour 1/2 cup chopped nuts 1/2 teaspoon salt 1 1/2 cups mashed ripe bananas 1 teaspoon vanilla 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg 1 3/4 cups sugar 1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 teaspoon cinnamon 2 eggs 1/4 cup sour milk 1 stick margarine; melted & cooled -- (1/2 C.) Mix flour, sugar, nuts, soda, salt, cinnamon, & nutmeg and set aside. Add eggs, milk, vanilla and margarine to the bananas. Add to the dry ingredients all at once. Mix well by hand; do not overmix. Pour mixture into two greased & floured, medium (2x7 1/2") loaf pans. Bake in 350 degree oven about 45 minutes, or until crust is dark brown.
