Export Format Five-Layer Pasta Salad none 1 package shell macaroni; (7 ounces) 1 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/8 teaspoon pepper 2 cloves garlic; crushed 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese; (4 ounces) 1/3 cup sliced green onions 3 cups bite size pieces lettuce 3 large tomatoes chopped 2 cups diced cooked smoked ham Cook macaroni as directed on package; drain. Rinse with cold water; drain. Combine macaroni, mayo or salad dressing ( which ever you like), salt, pepper, garlic and onions, garlic power and onion powder. (didn't measure the garlic & onion powder) Layer lettuce, tomatoes, ham, cheese and macaroni mixture in large clear bowl. Cover and refrigerate. The recipe called for the lettuce to be the first layer, but I made it the last layer. Didn't want my lettuce to faint.
