Simple Fruit Ice Cream

1 quart fruit; semi-crushed
7/8 cup sugar
2 cups cream
2 cups whipping cream

Combine ingredients. Put them in the ice cream freezer and turn it on! (assuming it's electric) Submitted to the BBQ Mailing List by "Rory D. Remenak" on Feb 25, 1999. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - NOTES : Joy of Cooking originally called for strawberries, but I have used various fresh fruits with great success (at least, there was never any left!).
