Barbecue Stew


1/3 pound smoked pork (butt or shoulder),; chopped
1 medium onion; chopped
1 quart tomatoes; canned
2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce
1 cup catsup
1 tablespoon texas pete hot sauce
1 bay leaf
3 tablespoons bottled chili sauce
1/4 teaspoon dry mustard
1 dash cayenne pepper
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 small can butter beans
1 small can corn
3 medium potatoes; diced
1 quart water
2 tablespoons bbq sauce
1 tablespoon soy sauce

Put every thing except the beans and corn In a large pot. Simmer(do not boil) for 2 1/2 hour stirring occasionally until the potatoes are nearly done add vinegar and vegetables. Simmer until potatoes are done. Remove Bay leaf before serving. If you wish to freeze, only add potatoes to the portion for this meal.
