Western North Carolina Style BBQ Sauce II

none

12 ounces canned tomatoes
2 cups water
6 ounces tomato paste
2 dried chile peppers
1/2 cup ketchup
2 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
2 teaspoons chili powder
juice of two lemons
1/4 cup wine vinegar
2 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon Tabasco sauce
2 tablespoons black pepper
1 onion; chopped
1 clove garlic
2 bay leaves
1/2 pound butter
2 teaspoons dry mustard

1. Simmer all 30 minutes. Strain and cool. - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - -
